The day of Christmas fast approaching and the cat is not necessarily prepared to welcome so many people and noise on its territory. Discover all my tips for spending beautiful Christmas and New Year with his cat! Landscaping, toxic foods and dangerous plants, I tell you everything!
Preparing for Christmas: a quiet corner for the cat
The cat is a territorial animal. He is very attached to his environment and beware of anyone who would disturb his space of tranquility! During the holidaysthe cat will be very worried by visitors, sudden noises (voices, champagne corks…).
The best for him is to prepare a quiet environment before the arrival of your guests for New Year’s Eve. Install the cat in a living room with its bowls (water and food), its toilet house, its bed… Also remember to go see your feline from time to time to reassure him!
More zen end-of-year celebrations with Feliway!
I regularly use the Feliway pheromones to guarantee a more zen environment for my cats during holidays (Christmas, New Year’s Day, birthday…).
Feliway contributes to the well-being of the cat and helps to correct behaviors such as urine marking, scratching, fighting or hiding. On holidays, I advise you to use the Feliway Classic where the Feliway Classic Spray. It is a synthetic reproduction of the feline facial pheromone. This feel-good pheromone conveys a message of appeasement and security.
- THE Feliway Classic is a diffuser that covers an area of up to 70 m2. You just need to plug it into a wall outlet where the cat will stay safe. Remember to plug it in at least 48 hours before the arrival of your guests.
- THE Feliway Classic Spray allows better target areas of well-being. All you have to do is spray the corners of the walls and wait imperatively 15 minutes before letting the cat approach the treated areas. However, the action only lasts a maximum of 5 hours.
